Since the time the first humans walked this earth, tornadoes have been revered for their ability to unleash both creation and destruction. Fluid and feral, the mythic allure of nature’s ultimate expression of upheaval makes the tornado a powerful symbol of transformation.

 The ‘Tornado’ artwork is an attempt to capture the magical beauty of tornadoes in an antithetical form, one that is peaceful and engaging. The use of light, delicate metal rings that have been geometrically positioned in a continually rising revolution makes for an interesting play of reflections. The concentric movements dramatise the relationship between light and shade, creating an undulating dance that celebrates rhythm and synchronization.
